From Fantasy Illustration to the Tabletop: Age of Adventure Comes to Kickstarter

A system-agnostic print-and-play fantasy adventure with 108 printable elements and 10 quests, created by artists Carlos Cabrera and Salvador Trakal.

Artists Carlos Cabrera and Salvador Trakal have spent years creating artwork and worlds for games, comics and entertainment. With Age of Adventure, their independent studio SteelCraft Studios is bringing a world of its own to Kickstarter: a print-and-play fantasy campaign that turns original illustrations into a tabletop adventure.

The original campaign includes 108 printable elements and an adventure book with 10 quests. Six hero paper miniatures, character sheets, 10 monsters and two bosses join world and regional maps, battle maps, 30 dungeon tiles, 34 item cards and a pop-up tower.

Age of Adventure is system-agnostic, allowing a Game Master and players to adapt its adventures and encounters to their favorite tabletop RPG rules. The paper miniatures and scenery can be printed and assembled at home using a regular printer, paper and basic crafting tools. No 3D printer is needed.

Digital rewards include downloadable files for home printing. A physical reward tier includes a professionally printed version of the original campaign, alongside the digital content specified in that tier. Additional expansions and adventures are available through selected reward tiers. Current prices, delivery estimates and shipping details are listed on Kickstarter.
